Care Instructions
Watering:
- This is a semi-succulent plant, more tolerant of dry soil than wet soil.
- Water sparingly: Allow the soil to dry out completely between waterings.
- Reduce watering during autumn and winter when the plant goes dormant.
- In spring and summer, keep the soil lightly moist.
Light Requirements:
- Place in bright, indirect light with some direct sunlight for optimal growth and vibrant colors.
- Avoid prolonged direct sun exposure, which can scorch the leaves.
- If the plant develops large gaps between leaves, it may need more light.
Temperature & Humidity:
- Ideal temperature: 65–80°F (18–27°C).
- Prefers moderate humidity levels around 40-50%.
Flowering:
- While the main attraction is the heart-shaped foliage, this plant produces small, delicate purple flowers during the spring and summer.
