Quick Care Guide for Variegated String of Hearts & String of Pearls
Light:
- Bright, Indirect Light: Both plants thrive in bright, filtered sunlight. Avoid direct sun, which can scorch their delicate leaves.
- Supplemental Lighting: If indoors, place near a south- or east-facing window, or use grow lights.
Watering:
- Let Soil Dry: Allow the soil to dry out completely between waterings. Overwatering can lead to root rot.
- Seasonal Watering: Water less frequently during winter months when the plants are dormant.
Soil:
- Use a well-draining cactus or succulent mix to prevent water retention.
Temperature:
- Keep in warm temperatures between 65–80°F (18–27°C).
- Protect from frost or cold drafts.
Humidity:
- Normal indoor humidity is sufficient. Avoid overly humid environments.
Fertilizer:
- Feed with a diluted cactus/succulent fertilizer during the growing season (spring and summer), once every 4-6 weeks. No fertilizer is needed in winter.

Packaging & Handling
Most of our plants in 4-inch pots and larger are shipped bare root, while 2-inch pots typically retain their original soil to protect them during transit.
Each plant is carefully wrapped and secured in a box, with eco-friendly materials filling any empty spaces to minimize movement and shipping shock.

Shipping costs are based on total weight, with free shipping on orders over $35.
Order Processing
Orders typically ship within 1-5 business days. This allows time for plants to dry before transit. If you need urgent shipping, please contact us for estimates.
Combined Shipping
We may combine multiple orders into one package, though refunds are not automatically issued due to processing time.
Shipping Methods
We ship Monday through Friday using major carriers like USPS, FedEx, and UPS. Shipping times are estimates and may vary. Don’t worry if your order takes longer; succulents can handle transit times of up to 10 days.
Receiving Your Package
Plants may look a bit dull upon arrival due to transit. Open your package immediately and remove packing materials, but avoid direct sunlight initially. Allow them to acclimate before repotting and watering.
Shipping in Summer and Winter
For extreme heat, plan shipments carefully. If needed, contact us to postpone. In freezing areas, consider purchasing a heat pack to help prevent frost damage.

Plants arrived in wonderful condition, and heat pack was still warm. That's how fast the package got to me! Amazing, no? A little water, and they were as beautiful and vibrant as ever. The variegated string of pearls I got is flowering, also. Very awesome.
