**INFORMATION**
Aptenia cordifolia ‘Variegata’ is a trailing succulent perennial that forms a thick carpet of fleshy, heart-shaped, glossy green leaves adorned with creamy-white edges. It produces a profusion of bright pink or purplish, small daisy flowers in spring and summer, nearly year-round in the tropics. This variety is ideal for low-maintenance and water-wise gardens, rock gardens, or containers. It is also a good choice for long-lasting hanging baskets or for cascading over the edges of walls. The plant is drought-resistant and will not tolerate soggy soils, which will cause rotting and attract deadly fungal infections. It thrives in full sun in sandy, well-drained soils. Good drainage is essential to survival. Water regularly when the soil becomes dry. Keep dry in the winter. Fertilize very lightly in early spring. Easy to grow, Aptenia cordifolia is a good choice as a succulent groundcover or to prevent erosion of banks and slopes. Generally pest and disease-free

**HOW TO GROW:

Watering:
Aptenia is a semi-succulent plant, which means it is more tolerant of dry soil than wet soil and is prone to rotting in wet soil. You should water it sparingly, if in doubt. You can always add more water.
You can confidently allow the soil to dry out completely between waterings. This plant goes dormant in Autumn and Winter and therefore needs less watering. The soil should be lightly moist in spring and summer.

    Shipping Rates

Shipping costs are based on total weight, with free shipping on orders over $35.

    Order Processing

Orders typically ship within 1-5 business days. This allows time for plants to dry before transit. If you need urgent shipping, please contact us for estimates.

    Combined Shipping

We may combine multiple orders into one package, though refunds are not automatically issued due to processing time.

    Shipping Methods

We ship Monday through Friday using major carriers like USPS, FedEx, and UPS. Shipping times are estimates and may vary. Don’t worry if your order takes longer; succulents can handle transit times of up to 10 days.

    Receiving Your Package

Plants may look a bit dull upon arrival due to transit. Open your package immediately and remove packing materials, but avoid direct sunlight initially. Allow them to acclimate before repotting and watering.

    Shipping in Summer and Winter

For extreme heat, plan shipments carefully. If needed, contact us to postpone. In freezing areas, consider purchasing a heat pack to help prevent frost damage.
