Description

***INFORMATION***
Sempervivum literally means “live forever” because they grow and propagate so readily. These succulents are called by many names (semps, hens and chicks, houseleeks), but whatever you call them, they are amazing plants. Hens and Chicks are hardy and can be grown throughout the USA. Sempervivum like cool nights and need a cold-dormant season to be healthy. They prefer growing zones 4-8. In colder areas it may be beneficial to move the plants into a greenhouse or cover them during severe winter weather.

***WHAT IS INCLUDED***
One live 2 inch potted Sempervivum Calcareum in a shipping box with filler

I liked the color of one of the succulents better than the other; the second one that came did not match the color in the picture. They're still really pretty and one of them has little babies already!

    Party Favors

All your FAQ about your succulent party favors

You should receive your order 3-5 days before your event. Once your succulents arrive, place them in a location with plenty of bright, indirect light and ensure they have access to open air. This will help them stay healthy and vibrant until your event.

Succulents generally don't require much water. Check the soil for dryness, and if needed, give them a light watering. Avoid overwatering to keep the roots healthy.

While the succulents are event-ready, it’s best to remove any protective shipping materials and let them breathe in open air and have access to bright light until the event.

Yes, we do! Please contact us with details about your event theme and color palette. We’ll work with you to create a unique and personalized favor tag that perfectly complements your celebration.

We offer a variety of succulents, including aloe vera, echeveria, and brain cactus, depending on availability. Each is carefully selected to be visually appealing and easy to care for.

We recommend placing your order at least 10 days in advance to ensure availability and customization. For larger orders, please reach out as early as possible to secure your party favors.

Absolutely! Succulents are low-maintenance plants that only need bright light and minimal watering, making them a great choice even for beginners.

Yes, you can. Email us at support@thenextgardener.com if you have some specific requirements about your order. We can provide professional suggestions and services for you.

    Soft succulent

Most succulents thrive in bright, indirect light. To maintain their vibrant color, ensure they receive enough light, as they may lose their color if placed in too much shade. Some Echeveria varieties may even develop beautiful hues of pink, red, or purple when exposed to slightly more sunlight.

Echeveria plants prefer well-draining soil. A cactus or succulent mix works well, or you can add perlite or sand to regular potting soil to improve drainage. This helps prevent overwatering, which can lead to root rot.

Echeveria, like most succulents, does best with infrequent watering. Water deeply when the soil is completely dry, but be sure to allow the soil to dry out completely between waterings. Avoid watering directly on the leaves to prevent rot.
