Description
Graptoveria 'Opalina' (a cross between Echeveria Colorata and Graptopetalum amethystinum) features a stunning opalescent rosette that is wonderfully low-maintenance. It thrives in partial sunlight, showcasing a beautiful powdery blue-green hue with a light dusting of farina. In brighter conditions, the edges will develop a lovely pink flush. Its unique, upright leaves can form a rosette up to 8 inches wide.

This variety grows relatively quickly, producing clusters of offsets at the base of the main rosette. It prefers sunny spots and well-draining pots and soil. Water deeply, but only when the soil has completely dried out.

As it matures, 'Opalina' can develop trailing stems up to 8 inches long beneath each rosette. Thankfully, it’s easy to propagate and can be compacted with a simple trim. To propagate, use sharp, clean scissors to cut a stem just below the rosette. Allow the cut to dry and callus in a cool, dry place for 3-5 days, then replant it in gritty soil. Water regularly until roots establish.

We ship Monday through Friday using major carriers like USPS, FedEx, and UPS. Shipping times are estimates and may vary. Don’t worry if your order takes longer; succulents can handle transit times of up to 10 days.

    Receiving Your Package

Plants may look a bit dull upon arrival due to transit. Open your package immediately and remove packing materials, but avoid direct sunlight initially. Allow them to acclimate before repotting and watering.

    Shipping in Summer and Winter

For extreme heat, plan shipments carefully. If needed, contact us to postpone. In freezing areas, consider purchasing a heat pack to help prevent frost damage.
